Running Giveaways Without the Usual Mess

Most small brands like the idea of giveaways.

In reality, they’re annoying to run.

You end up juggling forms, tracking entries in a sheet, replying to people, picking winners manually, then figuring out shipping. It works… but it’s not something you want to repeat often.

I looked into a simpler setup recently using Give by Sticker Mule, and the main difference is how much it removes from your plate.

What’s Different Here

Instead of building a giveaway across 3–4 tools, this is more like:

  • Pick a product (stickers, t-shirts, etc.)

  • Decide how many winners

  • Share a single link

That’s it.

Entries are collected, winners are picked, and products are shipped without you getting involved in the backend.

That’s the part that stood out. It’s not trying to be a marketing tool. It’s just removing the operational headache.

Where It Actually Helps

This isn’t something you’d use for every campaign. But in a few situations, it makes sense:

1. Early-stage audience building If you’re trying to grow a list or get initial traction, this is low effort compared to building a full funnel.

2. Testing ideas quickly Instead of overthinking a product or design, you can just put it out and see if people respond.

3. Simple engagement boosts If your audience has gone quiet, this is one of the easier ways to get attention again without a big campaign.

The Real Advantage

The biggest benefit isn’t “more features”.

It’s that you’ll actually run the giveaway.

Most people don’t avoid giveaways because they don’t work. They avoid them because they become work. This removes that friction.

One Limitation

Right now, Give is US-only, so depending on your audience, that might limit how useful it is.

Final Take

If you already have a complex marketing setup, this won’t replace it.

But if you just want a fast, low-effort way to run giveaways without dealing with logistics, it’s a solid option.

Sometimes simple wins.
